CSU's Strategic Communication + Marketing Office Announces Turner College Dean Opening on LinkedIn

CSU's Executive Director of Strategic Communication + Marketing, Michael Tullier, announced on his LinkedIn page this morning that CSU is in the exciting time of searching for new deans to lead its business school and its letters and sciences college. Tullier's LinkedIn post (see below) also includes weblinks to separate CSU pages describing the search process and expectations for each opening. These are the pages that CSU Provost Dustin Anderson referred to in his Fall 2026 welcome back presentation to Turner College faculty and staff in August. CSU President Stuart Rayfield Updates CSU Faculty Senate on Depressing Enrollment Trends

CSU President Stuart Rayfield provided a Fall 2026 enrollment update during the Sept-2026 CSU Faculty Senate meeting. According to Rayfield, enrollment has fallen by 3% since Fall 2025. Additionally, student credit hour production is down 3.4% this fall compared to Fall 2025. Within these statistics, the number of new undergraduates attending CSU rose by 7.7% between Fall 2025 and Fall 2026. The number of graduate students is up 1.6% over this same time frame. While the good news is that the retention of first-time full-time freshmen enrollment is up to 75% compared to Fall 2025's 72%, retention of all undergraduate students is down, as is graduate student retention. Both of these numbers are down 6.2%. According to Rayfield, if this trend had remained flat, CSU would have been up on recruitment. These returning students will keep CSU down for several years even if it retains students.
