Yi Zhou has joined the Turner College’s TSYS School as an assistant professor of computer science. Zhou comes to CSU from Auburn University, where he recently completed his doctoral studies in computer science. Zhou’s work on the energy efficiency of database operations on multicore servers is published in a 2015 issue of Future Generation Computer Systems , while his research on task assignments in high performance computing clusters appears in a 2017 issue of Concurrency Computation: Practice and Experience . Additionally, his work on archival systems is published in a 2017 issue of IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems .
