Turner Business is pleased to announce that three faculty have been nominated for the 2024 Turner College Faculty Research Award. The first of these is Jasmine Bordere , associate professor of accounting in the Turner College. Bordere joined CSU after completing PhD studies at the University of Alabama. During this time Bordere published an article on audit risks in Current Issues in Auditing , and since joining the Turner College she has published five articles in Internal Auditing . The two most recent of these, each published in 2021, delve into unsustainable dividend payments and climate change financial reporting disclosures. In 2020, Bordere's research program branched into servant leadership. That year she published a study in the International Journal of Servant-Leadership examining servant leadership examples during the well-known U.S. Navy Seal mission memorialized by the motion picture Lone Survivor .
