TSYS School's Jianhua Yang Selected for Fulbright U.S. Scholar Award for Spring 2027

TSYS School professor of computer science Jianhua Yang has been selected for a Fulbright U.S. Scholar Award for 2026–2027. As a Fulbright Scholar, Yang is expected to spend Spring 2027 in Egypt, where he will conduct research in collaboration with Mohammed AbdelMegeed Salem and his team at the German University in Cairo, an institution that was established through cooperation with major German institutions, including the University of Ulm and the University of Stuttgart, with support from organizations including the German Academic Exchange Service and other German governmental bodies. As part of the program Yang will also teach two courses at Cairo University in Egypt. Turner Business congratulates Professor Yang on this significant professional accomplishment and wonderful recognition for the TSYS School.

The long-awaited journal review being conducted by the Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC) has been released and there are a number of news items that relate to faculty in the Turner College. This is big news for the Turner College as its editor, Phil Bryant , is a professor of management in the Turner College. The ABDC is proposing that the journal enter its system for the first time as a C-rated journal. Deborah Kidder's Tenure as Dean of the Turner College Set to End on December 12th

The Turner College community was informed this morning that Deborah Kidder 's tenure as Dean of the organization is set to end on December 12, 2025. An e-mail communication to Turner College faculty from CSU Provost & Executive Vice President Dustin Anderson states, " I am writing to share that Dr. Deborah Kidder will be stepping down as Dean of the Turner College of Business & Technology, effective December 12, 2025.
