The Turner College is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to lead the TSYS Center for Cybersecurity. The Director will be responsible for strategic leadership, program development, and fostering partnerships with corporate and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will oversee the creation and enhancement of cybersecurity programs, courses, and initiatives that meet the evolving needs of students and industry; identify and secure external funding opportunities, including grants and sponsorships, to support the Center's activities and growth; Industry establish and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, fostering collaboration on internships and other initiatives; represent the Cybersecurity Center at conferences, workshops, and public events to enhance its visibility and impact; and, oversee the day-to-day operations of the Center, including budget management, staff supervision, and resource allocation.
Required Qualifications
Educational Background: Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in cybersecurity, with a strong track record of leadership in an academic or industry setting.
Grant Acquisition: Demonstrated success in securing external grants and funding. Corporate Partnerships: Experience working with corporate partners and fostering industry relationships.
Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. in Cybersecurity or a related field; experience in teaching or academic administration; experience with CAE accreditation.
