Search for New Turner College Dean Stepped Up and Accelerated

According to this morning's news release from CSU's Office of Strategic Communication + Marketing, CSU anticipates launching its search for a new Dean of the Turner College next month, September 2026, with the goal of welcoming a new Dean to the Turner College in January 2027. If accurate, this is both a stepped-up and accelerated process, as recent news from the CSU administration indicated that search committee finalization and listening sessions would occur this fall and completion of the process would occur in time for the successful candidate to be seated on July 1, 2027. Now, the Office of the Provost and Chief Academic Officer invites the Turner College community to join its upcoming virtual forums where it can share its thoughts with university leaders and search committee members on the qualities and priorities the Turner College should look for in the candidates. Provided on very short notice, these virtual forums are set for Thursday, August 27, at 5:00pm, and Friday, August 28, at 11:00am. Previous reports from the Provost indicated that the search committee roster and other details regarding the search would be provided this week via a new page on CSU's website. As of now, that has not occurred. More information about this search, including ways to apply or nominate candidates, will be shared through campus communications and the monthly Clock Tower alumni e-newsletter. Deborah Kidder's Tenure as Dean of the Turner College Set to End on December 12th

The Turner College community was informed this morning that Deborah Kidder 's tenure as Dean of the organization is set to end on December 12, 2025. An e-mail communication to Turner College faculty from CSU Provost & Executive Vice President Dustin Anderson states, " I am writing to share that Dr. Deborah Kidder will be stepping down as Dean of the Turner College of Business & Technology, effective December 12, 2025.
