Meet the student assistants in the TSYS Center for Cybersecurity. They are Malachi Biggers, Donovan Wright, and Jonah Simpson. Among other things, they support the cybersecurity Nexus program, run the Cyber Range and Lab, and help facilitate the Center's participation in the CyberSkills2Work consortium funded by the National Security Agency. According to Patrick Aiken, Director of the TSYS Center for Cybersecurity, "They are . . . fabulous student assistants in the TSYS Center for Cybersecurity . . . [I am] happy to have [them] as part of the team. [They] make my life better by doing what [they] do." Biggers is a cybersecurity major in the TSYS School. He previously an apprentice as a SOC Analyst at CSU, while he currently serves as a cybersecurity mentor at Hardaway High School and as a Student Ambassador in the Turner College. Wright is also a cybersecurity major in the TSYS School, while he previously worked as a computer repair technician at CSU. Simpson is a computer science major in the TSYS School. He is also an Honors College Student Ambassador and a member of the CSU varsity track team.
The long-awaited journal review being conducted by the Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC) has been released and there are a number of news items that relate to faculty in the Turner College. One of these is the ABDC's decision to now include Compensation and Benefits Review in its journal rankings. This is big news for the Turner College as its editor, Phil Bryant , is a professor of management in the Turner College. The ABDC is proposing that the journal enter its system for the first time as a C-rated journal. Acting Turner College Dean Tesa Leonce sits on the journal's editorial board, while Turner College management professor Mark James has guest-edited an issue of the journal.
