Turner College and TSYS School Graduate Todd Dupas Jr. has Firm Handle on Professional Journey

The month of December has become an important month in Todd Dupas Jr.'s educational journey. In December of 2022 he earned a BBA in management information systems from the Turner College. Later, in December of 2023, Todd received a Nexus degree in cybersecurity for fintech from the TSYS School. Next year, in December of 2025, he is scheduled to receive an MBA from Western Governors University in December. Throughout his journey, Todd has always been grateful for the opportunities to prepare for his future. At graduation in 2023, Todd remarked, "Exactly one year ago, I proudly graduated with a degree in Management Information Systems, unsure of my career path. A month later, I embarked on the Nexus program, obtaining four cybersecurity certifications and my Nexus degree. Today, I reflect on an incredible journey, filled with meaningful connections and valuable experiences. Grateful for everyone who supported me such as Patrick [Aiken], Armando [Rodriguez], Elke [Brumbaugh], and more. I'm excited to announce the next step [in] pursuing my MBA in Information Technology Management. Stay tuned for what lies ahead." The individuals he thanks, Patrick, Armando and Elke, are members of the TSYS School computer science faculty. The four of them are pictured above on graduation day of December 2023.
Todd is succeeding just as well on the career front as he has been in the higher education arena. In June of 2022 he accepted the post of IT Asset Management Analyst with Global Payments. With his recent emphasis on computer science education, Todd transitioned to a four-month information security analyst internship with Global Payments in January of 2024. Once completed, Todd took on the role of IT Risk Analyst I with Global Payments (just last month). At that time, he stated, "I am excited to announce that I have accepted a full-time position at Global Payments Inc. as an IT Risk Analyst. While my career journey may not have followed a conventional path, each step has been instrumental in shaping my professional growth." Clearly, Todd has a firm handle on the early stages of his professional career. Turner Business wishes him the best going forward.
