Knape Combines Communication Skills, Process Improvement and Infrastructure Solutions to Boost Professional Career
Currently a technical project manager with over 20 years of experience in information technology, TSYS School graduate Jay Knape has demonstrated progressive responsibility working in analytical and collaborative efforts for the development, execution, and management of technical strategic plans. After graduating in 1998 from Howard Payne University with a bachelor's degree in communications, Jay took a position as multimedia computer programmer with Gulliver Richie Associates in Norcross, Georgia. There he produced Web-based and CD-ROM multimedia training modules for varied businesses and industries, using Authorware. Two years later, Jay moved to Quisic - Arthur Anderson Virtual Learning Network in Atlanta, where he held the position of custom solutions programmer. From there he came to CSU as a technical project manager in 2002, later rising to Manager of Web Services in 2008, Senior Manager of Web Content Services in 2011, and Project Management Officer. During this time Jay earned a master's degree in computer science from the TSYS School of Computer Science at CSU. Jay now works as Project Manager IV at TSYS, the company he joined back in 2014 as Associate Business Director.
