Turner College Grad, Jordyn Denard, Not Stopping Any Time Soon

The tagline on Class of '22 Turner College accounting graduate, Jordyn Denard's, LinkedIn page states, "don't stop until you're proud." Scheduled to graduate with a master's degree in accounting from Auburn University in May of 2024, and having just lined up a position with Taylor CPA & Associates of Atlanta, Georgia, it doesn't appear as though Jordyn has any plans to "stop" any time soon. The Phenix City, Alabama, native notes that her current career goals include becoming a Certified Public Accountant and working as a tax planner/advisor for small business owners, with the longer-term aim of expanding her expertise on various tax-related matters.
     Jordyn credits her values for much of her prior successes, which include induction into the Beta Gamma Sigma business honorary during her accounting studies in the Turner College. These relate to her family, an optimal work-life balance, attention to her mental health, community, integrity and reputation. With these values on her side, Turner Business will be looking for more successes from Jordyn to report on in the future.

The long-awaited journal review being conducted by the Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC) has been released and there are a number of news items that relate to faculty in the Turner College. This is big news for the Turner College as its editor, Phil Bryant , is a professor of management in the Turner College. Deborah Kidder's Tenure as Dean of the Turner College Set to End on December 12th

The Turner College community was informed this morning that Deborah Kidder 's tenure as Dean of the organization is set to end on December 12, 2025. An e-mail communication to Turner College faculty from CSU Provost & Executive Vice President Dustin Anderson states, " I am writing to share that Dr. Deborah Kidder will be stepping down as Dean of the Turner College of Business & Technology, effective December 12, 2025.
