Two-time TSYS School graduate Alex Walston knows a thing or two about cyber threats. Judging by his educational path at CSU, he also knows something about how to maximize educational opportunities for a career in cybersecurity. Alex earned a Nexus degree in cybersecurity from the TSYS School a few years ago. This educational path put Alex in position to work as a security analyst for Synovus, a position he held from June 2021 until last month. Now, Alex is a threat hunter for Red Canary, a computer and network security firm based in Denver, Colorado. Red Canary manages, detects and responds to prevalent threats across cloud, identity and endpoint so companies can have more time to focus on business-specific specific security needs and requirements. Turner Business congratulates Alex in this latest career milestone and wishes him the best in the future.
