Edwards Working to Facilitate Fundraising for Education

GiveCampus is the world's leading fundraising platform for non-profit educational institutions. Working on behalf of millions of donors and for more than 1,000 educational institutions, its mission is to advance the quality, affordability, and accessibility of education by providing software, services, and expertise that help schools raise money through charitable giving projects. In his position as Revenue Operations Analyst for GiveCampus, Turner College alum Blake Edwards helps stakeholders across all levels to execute projects that optimize systems and processes to drive revenue. Edwards' educational background provided a solid foundation for this type of work. He graduated summa cum laude from the Turner College in 2016 with a BBA in general business. During his undergraduate studies he was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi and Beta Gamma Sigma.
Blake was also a standout player on the CSU baseball team, being named the Peach Belt Scholar Athlete of the Year and an Honorable Mention All-American during his senior year, a season in which the Cougars won both the Peach Belt Conference regular season and tournament championships. In 2022, the year he joined GiveCampus, Blake earned a master's degree in management information systems from Georgia College & State University.
Shortly after his graduation from CSU, Blake was married to Chelsea Person, another CSU alum and one of greatest women's soccer players in school history. During Chelsea's time at CSU, the women's soccer team excelled, reaching the national championship during her senior year in 2015. Chelsea, who also graduated summa cum laude with a degree in communications, is currently an Executive Member at Pavilion, an international community of sales, marketing, RevOps, and success leaders from the world’s fastest growing companies. Pavilion team members teach new skills and help its member companies grow. Turner Business is proud to call the Edwards family, which currently resides in the Atlanta area, part of the Turner College family (Chelsea also enrolled in some business courses during her time at CSU).
