Turner College grad Renitta Sweet was recently named Communications Chair for the Urban League of Greater Atlanta Young Professionals. Renitta, who is currently the Manager of Sales and Marketing for the New York-based the*gameHERs, holds a bachelor's degree in management and marketing from CSU. "The Urban League Young Professionals has been an incredible way to become involved and active in my community. Since 2016 I've served as a founding member of the Columbus chapter, Treasurer and then President. I was excited I had the opportunity to continue in service after relocating to Atlanta," Sweet explained. Renitta is also a member of the Junior League of Atlanta, AMA Atlanta, and Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the Chattahoochee Valley. The long-awaited journal review being conducted by the Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC) has been released and there are a number of news items that relate to faculty in the Turner College. One of these is the ABDC's decision to now include Compensation and Benefits Review in its journal rankings. This is big news for the Turner College as its editor, Phil Bryant , is a professor of management in the Turner College. The ABDC is proposing that the journal enter its system for the first time as a C-rated journal. Acting Turner College Dean Tesa Leonce sits on the journal's editorial board, while Turner College management professor Mark James has guest-edited an issue of the journal.
