TSYS School's Armando Fernandez Joins Discussion Panel on AI + Cybersecurity Hosted by Aflac and the Greater Columbus GA Chamber of Commerce
There was a packed room and an engaging discussion at the Greater Columbus GA Chamber of Commerce's recent "Business Builder Series: AI + Cybersecurity." This event's success is due to its panel, which included Armando Fernandez, a cybersecurity Nexus instructor in the TSYS School at CSU and a Turner College alum. Joining Fernandez on the panel were Mike Kane, Senior Vice President of Cyber Operations at Global Payments Inc. and a Troy University alum, Curtis O’Neal, founder of Cybernetics Global and an alum of both Columbia Southern University and Emory University, and Beth Saylor, Director of Information and AI Governance at Aflac and an alum of both the University of Georgia and the University of Pittsburgh. Guided by moderator Patrick Aiken of Aflac, a three-time graduate of the Turner College, these individuals led a highly interactive conversation with the audience on the impact of AI and cybersecurity in today’s business landscape. Special thanks to Aiken for guiding such a dynamic session and to everyone who joined him at The Historic Y for another great morning of learning and connection.
